An Egyptian court on Thursday postponed for the second time the trial of 23 Egyptians and three British subjects accused of trying to overthrow the Egyptian government. Lawyers and defendants were disappointed by the delay, which came as an earlier delay of five months expired. The defendants have now been in detention awaiting trial for 20 months. The lawyers and defendants attributed the new delay to the attack on Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher, conducted by members of the same party, the outlawed Islamic Liberation Party.
