The Turkish police investigating four suicide bombings in Istanbul in November have seized more than 1,100 pounds of explosives, the Anatolia news agency said Thursday. The explosives were to be used in new attacks by a Turkish cell linked to Al Qaeda’s network, the semiofficial agency reported. The explosives were found in Istanbul. Al Qaeda, along with a Turkish militant group, the Islamist Great Eastern Raiders Front, has claimed responsibility for the four bombings, which left 62 dead and hundreds wounded. Full Story
