The government of Bangladesh is not doing enough to prevent its country from becoming a haven for Islamic terrorists in South Asia, according to a CSIS report. The Canadian Security Intelligence Service expresses concern about attacks by radicals connected to Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda, according to a report obtained by The Canadian Press. The report, obtained under the Access to Information Act, says the government is unwilling to crack down on terrorism. The CSIS report also suggests there could be dangers to Canadian aid agencies in Bangladesh. CSIS says there have been a number of serious terrorist attacks on cultural groups and recreational facilities.
