Mustafa Hiz (30) wanted in connection with the bombings in Istanbul of the British Consulate General and the HSBC Building has been apprehended in Karabuk. Hiz is wanted for providing a forged passport to Gurcan Bac, who provided the explosive-laden trucks used in the bombings. Mustafa Hiz was apprehended while hiding out in his father Sezai Hiz’s house in Safranbolu. Questioned at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command Hiz was later handed over to the Ankara Gendarmerie Intelligence Office. It has been determined that Mustafa Hiz went to Syria eight years ago for training and that he returned to Turkey shortly before the bombings in Istanbul. Full Story
