Police in Indian-administered Kashmir say they have killed a leading member of the main militant group fighting Indian rule. Saifur Rehman Bajwa, chief of operations for Hizbul Mujahideen, was killed in a gun battle in the summer capital, Srinagar, police said. He had been active in the disputed state for the past 11 years, inspector general of police, K Rajindra, said. India and Pakistan have fought two of their three wars over Kashmir. Full Story
