Lebanese Hizbollah guerrillas attacked Israeli posts in a disputed border area on Monday in the latest sign of rising tension between Israel and Syria. Witnesses and security sources said Israel responded with two air strikes on the edges of the Lebanese border village of Kfar Shouba and shelled the outskirts of several other villages. Regional tensions have flared since Israel struck what it said was a training camp for Palestinian militants in Syria three weeks ago in the deepest attack on its neighbor in 30 years. Full Story
