An Arizona company is recalling a version of computer software used by hospital and other health laboratories because of a glitch that could cause serious errors in patient care. It’s called the B-AUT-RAPID-LAB software version 5.2, 5.23 and 5.3, made by Misys Healthcare Systems of Tucson, Arizona. Laboratories can program the software’s quality-assurance check to flag test results that are unusual in some way.
