A videotaped interview with three Americans held hostage by Marxist guerrillas in Colombia was broadcast Wednesday, their first appearance on television since their capture in February. The three civilian contractors, dressed in the same military uniforms as their captors, said that they were “alive and well” and hoped to be released through diplomacy, warning that a rescue attempt would be deadly.
