Fire fighters are soldiers on the front line in the fight against terrorism, a truth brought home by the events of Sept. 11, 2001. A former senior soldier addressed the hard facts facing first responders as they prepare for what will hit them next. Dennis J. Reimer, a retired Army general who served as the Chief of Staff of the Army, told Redmond attendees about the newly emerging National Technology Plan for Emergency Response to Catastrophic Terrorism.
