A bomb hidden in a trash can on the 10th floor of an office building in the southern Pakistan city of Karachi on Friday shattered windows and rained debris onto the street below, but there were no reports of casualties, police said. Residents said the explosion was loud enough to be heard throughout the city of 14 million people. But police official Mohammed Ashraf told The Associated Press that there was no major damage or serious injuries. Witnesses said about five people received minor cuts from flying glass. The bomb occurred in the evening, and most offices in the building were already closed. It was not immediately clear what businesses are at the site.
