Eight members of the same Pakistani family have been massacred overnight in an apparent “honour killing”, police say. The deaths, in Buner district in North West Frontier Province, happened late on Tuesday. All but one of those killed were women or children. So-called honour killings are on the rise in Pakistan, despite efforts to stop the practice. In the latest incident, police believe the killers may have been seeking revenge after a girl from their family married against her father’s wishes. Full Story
