Army General Takes Command of Special Ops

Army Gen. Bryan “Doug” Brown took the helm of Special Operations Command Tuesday, saying the job of his commando forces is to foil terrorists planning their next attack. Brown, 54, replaced retiring Air Force Gen. Richard Holland in a ceremony at MacDill Air Force Base attended by Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and Gen.
