Malaysia PM Says Econ Won't Be Hurt By Jakarta Bomb Blast

Malaysia’s economy is unlikely to be affected by this week’s deadly bomb attack in neighboring Indonesia, Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said Thursday. “I think it will not have an effect on Malaysia,” Mahathir said at a press conference. He was speaking to reporters after naming the country’s second national micro satellite. The government expects gross domestic product growth of around 4.5% for 2003, better than last year’s 4.1% expansion. http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/dowjones/20030807/bs_dowjones/200308070314000507
