A 42-year-old Dutchman and his 10-year-old daughter have been found murdered in an Ecuador nature reserve in what is being described as a violent robbery. The bodies of the father and daughter were found in a ravine in the Cotapaxi province and were later taken back to the provincial capital of Latacunga, a local television broadcaster reported. The area where the man and girl were found is a popular nature reserve made famous by the condors found in the region. The park is considered safe for tourists. A spokeswoman from the Dutch embassy in the Ecuadorian capital of Quito confirmed the discovery of the two bodies, but could not provide further details. Full Story
