Security officers at Moi International Airport, Mombasa, are to undergo special training to improve their skills. At the same time, more security watchtowers would be built and foot patrols intensified at the airport, Kenya Airports Authority managing director George Muhoho said yesterday. “The watchtowers are in two different stages of development,” he said, adding that the training would begin next week and patrols would be intensified at footpaths near the airport. He was reviewing security arrangements at the airport in the company of the British High Commissioner, Mr Edward Clay.
