A cheeky virus writer has dedicated a computer worm to a top consultant at anti-virus company Sophos. Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant at Sophos, has become the target of a female virus writer after he once said that the majority of virus writers are male. It is not the first time the writer, known as Gigabyte, has dedicated a worm to Cluley, following the Parrot worm which spread across the net in mid-2001. The new Coconut worm (W32/Coconut-A) sends itself via email with the attachment ‘coconut.exe’. Once this is double-clicked, the worm sends itself to all your contacts and fires up a coconut shy game.
