An airline passenger allegedly stabbed another man in the neck with a fork in a dispute over seating Wednesday during a flight from Bangkok to Sydney, police said. The two apparently got into an argument over where to sit during the Thai Airways flight, Australian Federal Police said. “First aid treatment was given to the injured passenger and the attacker was restrained and put at the rear of the aircraft,” the airline said. The victim, described as a 50-year-old Thai citizen living in Australia, was hospitalized in Sydney after the flight landed. He was treated for his injuries and allowed to return to his Sydney home. The attacker, a 22-year-old Australian, was arrested but no charges were immediately filed. It wasn’t clear if the fork was metal or plastic. Full Story
