A fourth Briton has been arrested in Egypt for allegedly belonging to an outlawed Islamist organisation. Hatem Soliman, 40, a computer engineer from High Wycombe, Bucks, was detained in April during a raid on his parents’ home in Alexandria. He has not been charged. His wife Irene said he had been tortured for a week at security police HQ in Cairo and had head and spine injuries. Mr Soliman was born in Egypt, holds a British passport, and enjoys dual nationality. He is reportedly on hunger strike in protest at his treatment. Full Story
