A Russian security agent was killed early today while defusing a bomb that a woman had tried to carry into a restaurant here. The authorities said the woman was from Chechnya and had been planning to blow herself up. The police said a restaurant employee called a police station late Wednesday night, after a woman was stopped by security guards while trying to enter the restaurant, in a fashionable area of central Moscow. She said she was carrying a bomb in her bag, and the guards took the bag and detained her, a police spokeswoman said. Full Story
