Stowaway on Bush Press Plane Is Arrested in Uganda
The Ugandan authorities arrested an unidentified man who stowed away on the press plane accompanying President Bush from South Africa to Uganda today and then entered the hotel complex where Mr. Bush was speaking. Mark Sullivan, the deputy director of the Secret Service, said the Ugandan police had charged the man with illegal entry after he breached security to get on the plane, which was carrying 130 journalists and some White House staff members from an air force base outside Pretoria to Entebbe, where Mr. Bush was meeting with President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda.
