Three members of the New People’s Army (NPA) guerillas operating in Bulacan fell in government hands on Saturday, hours after two guerillas responsible in the Baliwag bus burning last month were nabbed earlier in Nueva Ecija. Lt. Col. Preme Monta, spokesman of the Northern Luzon Command (Nolcom), said three NPAs in Bulacan were apprehended by the military in Sitio Calearo, Barangay Atlag, Malolos, Bulacan last Saturday afternoon. Identified as Ronald Paredes, Leonardo Mendoza, and Darno Barera, the military also found in their possession one cal. 45 pistol with magazines, one homemade shotgun, five cell phones with chargers, two diskettes and suspected subversive documents.
