Palestinian security forces safely detonated a 20-kilogram explosive device found in central Bethlehem on Monday afternoon. Palestinian sources say that the security force, comprising of police officers and members of the preventive security force, managed to locate the device after questioning a number of suspects held by the Palestinian police. Israel Defense Forces soldiers arrested two wanted Palestinians in the West Bank Monday morning. A Fatah member was picked up by troops in Nablus, while the second man was arrested in the Jenin area, Israel Radio reported. There has been a significant fall in the number of warnings of terror attacks received by Israeli security forces. The Shin Bet currently has 20 warnings, only a handful of which relate to a specific target. Hamas and Islamic Jihad warned Sunday that if the Palestinian Authority attempts to disarm them, they will end the current cease-fire, Israel Radio reported. Full Story
