During an “international hacking event” between July 6 and July 7, a total of 101 Internet sites were reportedly hacked, with 17 Korean sites included in the total, according to the Ministry of Information and Communication yesterday. Referring to the Zone-H site, on which the participants in the illegal event promised to upload the names of companies they allegedly hacked, the ministry said that 101 sites were invaded worldwide and that 17 Korean sites were also the victims of their hacking activities.
