A federal judge has given prosecutors until next Monday to decide if they will comply with her ruling granting accused terrorist Zacarias Moussaoui access to an al-Qaida prisoner. U.S. District Court Judge Leonie Brinkema in Alexandria, Va., issued the order Monday. Moussaoui has claimed that Ramzi Binalshibh, an acknowledged al-Qaida member, would corroborate his claim that he was not part of the plot behind the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Brinkema early this year granted the deposition requested by Moussaoui and his lawyers, ruling that Moussaoui has a constitutional right to interview a witness potentially favorable to his defense.
