A local branch of the Palestinian militant group Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility Tuesday for a bombing in central Israel that killed two people. It was the first bomb attack since militant groups announced a ceasefire a week ago. Israeli police said the blast that killed a 65-year-old woman was most likely a suicide attack. Three of her grandchildren were injured. A leaflet from Islamic Jihad threatened more violence if Israel does not order a mass release of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails. Full Story
