Sudanese peace talks aimed at ending two decades of war between government and rebels resumed in Kenya on Sunday to tackle key issues such as power-sharing and dividing oil resources, delegates said. Rebel and government representatives meeting in the Kenyan town of Nakuru, 140 km (90 miles) northwest of Nairobi, said they were studying proposals on several subjects presented by mediators including security, power and wealth distribution. “We have been presented with a framework on the issues under discussion,” Ahmed Dirdeiry, Sudan’s deputy ambassador to Kenya, told Reuters by telephone from Nakuru.
