Colombian security forces Sunday killed 11 outlaw fighters and captured two dozen others in separate incidents throughout the country, authorities said. Two soldiers also were killed. The dead fighters included nine members of the leftist Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia and two rival right-wing paramilitary combatants, the army said in a statement. The soldiers were killed in separate skirmishes, according to the statement. Also Sunday, police raided a rebel hide-out in Norte De Santander state and captured 24 presumed members of the National Liberation Army, regional police Col. Marco Antonio Pedreros told reporters.
