An appeal court in Paris ordered the release of two female members of the People’s Mujahedeen, an armed Iranian opposition group, according to one of the women’s lawyers. The court has been examining the cases of 11 members of the organisation, including the Iranian armed opposition group’s symbolic leader Maryam Rajavi, since June 22 after they were placed under investigation for terrorist offences. The decision on Rajavi, wife of the People’s Mujahadeen leader Massoud, and the remaining eight suspects was expected at 5:30 pm (1530 GMT) Wednesday.
