Gov't Sports Chief Survives Early Morning Ambush in Manila
Controversial sports head Go Teng Kok was ambushed by two unidentified men Tuesday in the City of Manila. The assassination attempt on Kok, president of the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association (PATAFA), occurred at the corner of Harrison Plaza and Vito Cruz in Manila early this morning. Kok was in his Mitsubishi Adventure and was awaiting entry to his PATAFA office at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium when two suspects on a motorcycle took advantage of the situation to spring an attack on him.
