French anti-terrorist police arrested three people and searched buildings in Paris Tuesday as part of an investigation into the Red Brigades, judicial officials said. The police acted on requests from Italian judges in Naples and Bologna, the officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity. The Bologna judge is investigating the death of Marco Biagi, a labor ministry adviser who was gunned down outside his home last year, the officials said. The killing was claimed by an offshoot of the leftist Red Brigades, which terrorized Italy in the 1970s and 1980s with shootings and kidnappings. The ANSA news agency said raids were conducted in Italian cities as well, including Naples, Milan and Modena, in connection with the Neapolitan investigation. Full Story
