Security experts have warned web users to be on their guard against yet another new email virus, which is spreading across the net. Called Trile, the worm arrives as an email attachment with different subject lines, including ‘Your News Alert!!’, ‘New Reading’, ‘Membership Confirmation’ and ‘Cows’. The attachment always has a double extension, which includes .bat, .pif, .gif and .doc. Once opened, Trile send itself out to all entries in the Outlook address book and also creates the ‘c:/My Downloads’ folder. In this folder, the worm replicates a number of copies of itself with names including, ‘Civilization 3 full Downloader.exe’ and ‘Need For Speed 5 Porshe Unleashed Patch.exe’.
