Suicide attackers are being trained to carry out strikes against foreign soldiers in Afghanistan, the Interior Minister said Thursday. Ali Ahmad Jalali made the comments at a news conference in Kabul, just days after a man driving a car packed with explosives attacked a bus carrying German peacekeepers on the city’s eastern outskirts. Four German soldiers and one Afghan civilian were killed in the blast, while 29 German peacekeepers were wounded. “There are efforts underway to train suicide bombers in order to be used in Afghanistan against foreign troops,” Jalali said.
