Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, yesterday denounced the recent bombings in Riyadh and said that the Kingdom would remain strong with the support of God and its people. Addressing senior Islamic scholars, including Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh and a group of citizens from the Eastern Province, he said the May 12 terrorist attacks in Riyadh were completely against the teachings of Islam. “The criminal attacks terrorized children and women as well as the elderly and youth in the country,” the crown prince said. “Terrorism and killing of innocent people have nothing to do with the Islamic faith. They are in fact against our faith and morality,” Prince Abdullah said and urged all citizens to support the Kingdom’s security agencies. Full Story
