Defense officials rescheduled a live-flight combat air patrol exercise scheduled for tonight over Washington, citing bad weather. The exercise is now planned for Thursday night beginning at 10:30 p.m. Major Don Arias, a spokesman for the North American Aerospace Defense Command, said that today’s poor visibility, rain and low clouds did not affect the military’s “all-weather”-capable F-16 fighters and Avenger ground missile systems.
