A ninth American has died of injuries sustained in May’s terrorist bomb attacks at a housing complex in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a State Department spokesman said Sunday. Spokesman Lou Fintor confirmed the death but refused to offer details, citing the family’s request for privacy. The May 12 suicide bombings killed 26 people, including eight other Americans. Nine bombers also died. U.S. and Saudi officials blame the attacks on the al Qaeda terror network. By the end of the week, a smaller FBI team is scheduled to replace a 60-person FBI investigating team sifting through the evidence. The larger team is expected to return to the United States.
