Central to their investigation was the question: what would have happened had Robinson managed to gain control of the cockpit of Qantas Flight 1737 to Launceston? The would-be hijacker was last night emerging as a religious fanatic whose world began to slide out of control last Easter. But 40-year-old Robinson started showing strain four years ago.
