By Arnon Regular, Amos Harel and Tsahar Rotem, Haaretz Correspondents, Haaretz Service and Agencies A Palestinian militant was killed and a second was captured by IDF troops near the West Bank city of Jenin on Saturday as they tried to plant a large explosive device on a road used by troops, Israel Radio reported. The report said that soldiers from the Golani Brigade came upon the two between the village of Jab’a and the settlement of Sanur, in the northern West Bank. The soldiers opened fire on the two, killing one and capturing the second. The 70 kilogram bomb was safely defused by sappers, the radio said, adding that the two were believed to be members of Hamas. Full Story
