Five Shot Dead at Lahore Court

Unidentified gunmen have shot dead five people and wounded three others outside a courtroom in the Pakistani city of Lahore. The victims were among a group of people leaving the Session Court in the city centre when the shots were fired. Police say those killed and wounded had just appeared before a judge. They suspect the shooting may be related to a dispute between rival criminal gangs. Police Chief Khawaja Rifat told reporters one of the dead men was the son of a well known criminal in the city. Following the attack the gunmen stole a lawyer’s car and escaped. Full Story
