Authorities investigating a blast at the Yale University law school have found several guns and ammunition in a student’s dormitory room, The Hartford Courant newspaper reported on Friday.
Citing sources close to the investigation, the newspaper reported on its Web site that the law student was taken into custody late on Thursday and was given a polygraph test. The newspaper said it was not known whether the student was linked to Wednesday’s blast in New Haven, Conn., which damaged two rooms in the Yale law school but caused no injuries and did not break any windows. Officials believe the blast was caused by a planted device. Neither the FBI nor New Haven police were available for comment.
