A security guard who shot dead a commanding officer and took six colleagues hostage at Bombay’s international airport has surrendered. The guard gave himself up after a seven-hour stand-off with commandos and riot police. The hostages – five women and man – were released unharmed. “He has surrendered after his mother, father and two police officers went in. There was no harm to anybody.
