A bomb alert disrupted a Tuesday night performance at Moscow’s renowned Bolshoi Theatre but police said they found no explosives in the majestic 19th-century building. “We found no bomb in the building, it was a false alert,” a Moscow police spokesman told Reuters. “No one was evacuated because we checked the building during the interval.” The alert was raised when police received a telephone call after the show had started warning of a powerful explosive device inside the opera and ballet house, opposite the Kremlin.
