Ten Israel Defense Forces soldiers were injured Tuesday morning, one of them moderately and the rest lightly, by two mortars fired at a military base in Gush Katif in the Gaza Strip. The injured soldiers were taken to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva. The IDF fired at Khan Yunis in response to the attack. Police were on high alert Tuesday afternoon in the seam line area near Petah Tikva and Kfar Sava, and in Jerusalem due to terror warning. Roadblocks were places at the entrances to the capital, and public transportation inspections were stepped up. Security forces on Monday found two suitcase bombs found in an apartment in the village of Zeita, near the West Bank city of Tul Karm, it was released for publication Tuesday.
