Hackers have launched attacks on the government of Pakistan’s websites, Geo News Channel reported on Wednesday. Director Comsets Pervez Butt called it ‘Distributed Denial of Service Attack’ , which jams a website and generate bogus traffic on massive scale. He suggested more channels and mirroring of sites as safeguard against the attack. The government has decided to shift its all websites to the National Telecommunication Corporation, which will save other companies from attacks, he told. All companies with .gov.pk tag are under attack, he told the channel. Full Story
