Seven policemen were killed and two seriously injured in a landmine blast triggered by the banned Maoist Communist Centre (MCC) in Bihar’s Nawada district on Tuesday, police said. Police said the MCC ultras triggered landmine blast on Fatehpur-Govindpur road of the district when a police patrol was passing through. Officer in-charge of Govindpur police station Shailendar Ram, Sub-Inspector D P Yadav and the driver of the police vehicle Anil Yadav along with four other jawans of Bihar Military police (BMP) were killed on the spot.
