Separatist rebels of the Bodo tribe have killed four Bengali-Muslims in India’s northeastern state of Assam. Police said the rebels had kidnapped the four on Saturday. Tension prevailed in western Assam after the bodies were found. A senior police official in Assam, Khagen Sarmah, told the BBC that rebels of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) stormed the village of Bengtol in western Assam’s Kokrajhar district on Saturday.
