Indonesian police on brought nine more Bali bombing suspects before prosecutors in preparation for their trial and handed over evidence including a handgun and several cars. Key suspect Ali Ghufron, also known as Mukhlas, and eight of his accomplices were presented, said Bali police spokesman Yatim Suyatmo Tuesday. Police have described Mukhlas as operations chief of the Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) regional network, which is thought to be allied to Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda. They say Mukhlas was overall supervisor of the bombings, which killed 202 people last October 12.
