Public Service Reporter The massive American information technology network was at risk of hackers, according to a top strategic analyst. Professor Des Ball, of the Strategic and Defence Studies Centre at the Australian National University, said yesterday the United States used computer systems and networks far more than any other defence force. This was not just for intelligence and operations but for logistical support, such as ordering ammunition. ‘And I think you’re going to see various sorts of amateur opponents of the American operation trying to hack into American systems.’ Full Story
