A court rejected bail Wednesday for a Pakistani man suspected of harboring al-Qaida’s No. 3 leader, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, and another senior member of the terror group. Ahmed Abdul Qadus has been in police custody since March 1, when Pakistani and American intelligence agents picked up Mohammed and alleged al-Qaida financier Mustafa al-Hisawai from Qadus’ home in Rawalpindi, a city near the capital, Islamabad. The court was expected to say Thursday why it rejected the appeal, Qadus’ lawyer, Sardar Ishaq Khan, said. “We will appeal the rejection after getting a copy of the court ruling,” Khan said.
