P600,000 bounty for Davao bombers

The city government is offering a P600,000 cash reward for any information leading to the arrest of the suspects in the recent bombing of the Davao International Airport that killed 23 people and injured 144 others. Senior Supt. Conrado Laza, Davao City police director, said the amount could still increase based on offers from concerned sectors to help in the immediate solution of the terrorist attack. Earlier, governors and city mayors, together with the military and the police, in Regions 11 and 12 agreed to strengthen their ties through closer coordination to prevent a similar attack. Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte presided over a meeting of the expanded City and Regional Peace and Order Council at the Grand Men Seng Hotel and led the participants in condemning the attack on the airport.
