Pacific island states say they need full cooperation from larger nations if they are to play a part in the war on international terrorism. The secretary-general of the Pacific Forum, Noel Levi, told a meeting in Fiji that the island states lacked the intelligence resources to combat terrorism alone. He said recent attacks on tourists in East Africa and Indonesia had opened the eyes of Pacific islanders to the threat posed by international terrorists. Full Story
